I managed to live on Vancouver Island for over four years, and never made the four hour trek up to Tofino. Known across the globe for its surfing, this town is a tourist hub year round. I have totally fallen in love with this coastal town and its hippie feel. If I ever have the chance, I would definitely live here (and am potentially planning a long term stay here sometime soon!!!).
What better way to show your love for a place than to photograph it right? And my heart definitely feels full after spending time here.
So here is Tofino through my eyes (or lens)! I hope you can get a feel for this gorgeous corner of the world, and to help with that, I’ve added some captions, thoughts, etc…
Morning dew on new leaves.
Tacofino makes the best tacos. No question.
Okay you got me… This isn’t Tofino.. BUT, it was on the way so I’ve added it in. #fightmeonit
The sunset from our balcony.
“Holy cow these rocks are slippery!”
If it hadn’t been so rainy I would have sat on this bench forever.
Tofino is so moody!
New sandals and chipped nail polish.
Beach sunsets are the best sunsets.
Can I build a house on that island please?
